May 3, 2007 On Sunday, April 14th Sara Young (WGO), Leigh Ann King (WSW), and Ashley Lawler (WSW) joined the Appalachee Parkway Chapter of the YMCA for their Healthy Kids' Day celebration. The celebration was designed to educate children and their parents on healthy alternatives for snacks and meals in addition to having active participation stations for the kids attending the event. The student-athletes were instructors at two of the active participation stages and passed out FSU athletics posters, stress balls, and bracelets. |
