2003 Track Offseason Busy for Seminole Track and Field
The summer of 2003 was a very busy time for some Seminole athletes. In particular, five FSU track and field team members competed across the globe representing Canada, Jamaica, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, and the United States during June, July and August. (more)

Garrett Johnson Captures USA Junior Track & Field Shot Put Title
The Florida State track and field season may have come to an end two weeks ago, but don't tell that to Garrett Johnson and Dorian Scott. The two shot put phenoms won their events last weekend at the USA and Jamaican national championships, respectively to qualify for the Pan-Am Games, which will be held later this summer. (more)

Gerber Earns All-American Honors After Best Finish At NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships
The 2003 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships came to an end on Saturday evening in Sacramento, Calif. with Florida State receiving three All-American honors. Senior Laura Gerber led all Seminoles with a fourth place finish in the 800m run, helping the women's team to a 26th place finish with 10.50 points. The men's squad finished the championships in a tie for 57th. (more)
