2002: Indoor – Led the Seminoles in the shot put…finished third at the ACC Championships in the shot put (55-02.75) to earn All-ACC honors…top throw of the indoor season came at the UNC Invitational where he tossed the shot 56-3.75 (17.16m)… Outdoor – Was the top shot putter for the Seminoles recording the team’s best 13 throws…finished third in the shot at the ACC Championships (56-07.25) to earn All-ACC honors …had a season-best throw of 57-06.50 at the FSU Relays to place him sixth all-time at FSU in the shot put…had six throws in the shot put travel beyond 56 feet…passed the 57-feet mark twice in the shot…turned in a season-best mark of 140-00 in the discus throw at the Snowbird Invitational. 2001: Earned All-ACC status…placed second in the shot put at the ACC Outdoor Championship with a mark of 57-02…had an impressive freshman season where he emerged as the Seminoles’ top performer in the shot put…won the shot put event five times and placed second twice…threw the shot over 53 feet at seven meets…also competed in the weight throw, discus and hammer throw. PREP: Named all-area as a sophomore, junior and senior...named all-state twice in high school...earned all-conference (3) and all-conference (2) a total of five times... named an All-American as a senior for the indoor season...named county Athlete of the Year as well as team MVP at Seton Hall Prep.
